Founder/Owner: Chuck Lee
​
Background:
Chuck Lee has over 25 years experience playing volleyball both at recreational and competitive. He currently plays at local adult leagues such as Bump Set Drink and Bohrer Park. He plays as setter/DS and often recruits his own team to play local tournaments such as Play 4 Keeps, IPF Volleyball Classic, Spike for Life, and Foundation for Children of Vietnam.
Chuck started his volleyball career by coaching boys and girls at MCPS high schools: Seneca Valley HS and Clarksburg HS. He also coached USAV Club for girls 16U at East Coast Elite and is IMPACT certified.
Chuck is a certified volleyball official and worked under the Beltway Regional Volleyball Officials (BRVO) officiating MCPS high school matches with NFHS rules. He also plays and officiates at the Bump Set Drink League.
Chuck is a volunteer coach for the City of Gaithersburg Youth Volleyball League.

​Co-Founder/Owner: David Vu
​
Background:
David Vu migrated from Vietnam to Buffalo NY when he was just 4 years old with his two sisters and mom. He studied engineering at the University at Buffalo through 2000 and business at Syracuse University through 2002. In 2004, David moved to Baltimore and with those two passions of engineering and business he continues to work full time as an engineer and part time as a real estate entrepreneur. David also volunteers his time to help build new homes for low income families of Baltimore City through Habitat for Humanity.
In 2013 he got married and picked up 2 more jobs as a husband and father. Throughout his childhood David was always competitive both in academics and athletics. He has been involved with volleyball on a recreational level at college intramurals, annual charity tournaments and beach tournaments. In his free time he also enjoys billiards, bowling, poker, and travel..
Mission:

The mission of MoCo Youth Volleyball League, LLC is to provide youth in the Montgomery County or its surrounding area a centralized location for administering volleyball competitions. Furthermore, our coaches will provide technical and physically training to better prepare youth for pursuing athletic interest in playing volleyball in high school or beyond.

Special note:

This league was created for youth in the Montgomery County area with the following intent:
​* Give beginners the opportunity to learn how to play volleyball from our volunteer coaches.
* Give experienced volleyball players the opportunity to continue to be competitive play volleyball during their off season time from either school team or club team.
* Recap or learn the fundamental techniques in performing a specific skill in playing volleyball.
